Welcome to Egypt Lover. Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they apply to all bookings made with Egypt Lover ("we", "us", or "our"). By booking a trip with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.

1. Introduction

Egypt Lover is a licensed travel agency (License No. 874) operating under the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. These terms constitute the entire agreement between the client and Egypt Lover.

2. Booking & Payment Policy

To secure your reservation, a deposit is required. The specifics are as follows:

  • Deposit: A deposit of 25% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. During peak seasons (Christmas, New Year, Easter), a 50% deposit is required.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Egypt, either in cash (US Dollars, Euros, or Pounds Sterling) or via credit card (Visa/Mastercard).
  • Confirmation: Once the deposit is received, our tour operators will send a final confirmation itinerary along with booking vouchers.

3. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Cancellation requests must be sent via email to info@egyptlover.com. The refund amount depends on how far in advance the cancellation is made:

Cancellation Date Refund / Charge
More than 40 days before trip Full refund (minus 6% transaction fees)
30 to 40 days before trip 25% of total tour cost charged
15 to 29 days before trip 50% of total tour cost charged
7 to 14 days before trip 75% of total tour cost charged
Less than 7 days 100% of total tour cost charged (No Refund)

* Note: Domestic flights within Egypt are generally non-refundable depending on the airline's specific terms.

4. Responsibility & Liability

Egypt Lover acts only as an agent for the participants in regard to travel, whether by railroad, boat, aircraft, or any other mode of transport, and assume no liability for injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity to person or property resulting directly or indirectly from any of the following causes:

  • Weather, acts of God, force majeure, acts of government, or other authorities.
  • Wars, civil disturbances, labor disputes, riots, theft, or epidemics.
  • Quarantines, medical or customs regulations.
  • Technical problems with transport, flight cancellations, or delays.

5. Special Requests

If the Client has any special requests (dietary requirements, wheelchair access, specific room types), they must inform the Company at the time of booking. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate these requests, but they cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

6. Children Policy

Our policy for children sharing a room with parents:

  • Under 2 Years: Free of charge.
  • Under 6 Years: 25% of total tour cost.
  • Under 12 Years: 50% of total tour cost.
  • 12 Years and older: Considered an adult.

* If your tour package includes flights, an extra supplement for the child may apply.

7. Tipping

Tipping is customary in Egypt as an expression of satisfaction with good service. It is not obligatory but is highly appreciated by drivers, guides, and hotel staff. The amount is entirely at your discretion.
